Update, Because of furry fiesta this last weekend and feeling lowsey durning the week Rayne wont be updated this week, however there will be a double update very early next week. Sorry about the delay.
Important info to note here. Julie is more mammal then not. Along with her breasts she also has warm blood, but they absence of fur causes weather changes to be more extreme. With her modern life, she is rarely away from an AC/Heated place for too long and wasn't mindful of a possible extreme weather change. I try not to focus too much on different structure cause most of the characters i have have almost the same diets and parts with each other. I might do a FAQ on major differences another time if it is desired.

Comic postponed due to hurricane. Sorry guys, incase you are wondering, I'm ok and my house and everything are also ok from the recent hurricane, however, I work in a hotel and because of this, we are cramed full of people because of the storm :/ This is also causeing me to work my butt off every night *most nights I have lots of nothing to do, which is why I have time to do the comic* I'm hoping people will largely be able to start going back to there homes by the end of the week, hopefully giving me more time. I should be able to catch up will a few dual updates in a month or 2. Anything I put out now will be rushed. I for sure will have something next week for ya, sorry about the wait!

Alright, a few more things running right around here. So far as of 4 days ago I've got FTP working on the server which should mean better update times, unless something else comes up. Also there was a doubling of the txt on comic 186 I think it was, and that one hopefully should make more since now. Anyway I don't think too many if anyone saw this comming. Trevor and Deborah get more intresting models then they were expecting.

Wow,After a month of being down, the Rayne page is back up, now running on Tiny Server! The server for the first time is running in my house so I can monitor it with ups and everything. Hopefully it will stay up for a while at least :P There has been at least 2 updates that were updated on furaffinity but are now up here as well. There are bound to be broken links and the like, though I tried to get rid of most of them. Woot for on timeness. The double updates are saddly over for at least right now. Trevor is getting back to school and a little closer with the girls daily lives outside of the apartment. I wanted to start on this arc ages ago when I started back to school but the once a week thing and at the time I did go back to school the characters weren't developed enough. Wow alot came up this weekend. It was A-kon and I got to cosplay a bit ^.^ I was Bowser and I helped along with 697 others to break the world record of most videogame characters in 1 room :D Also I was in a costume contest after that and won judge's pick ^.^ I also seemed to end up on alot of websites as well as http://www.Kotaku.com for one. Anyway thats why the comic is late again -.- however this is the end of the double updates for now, getting closer to my 1 a week min. because of a number of skipped weeks. Next week is a new story arc :D

Sorry for the outage but I just got my harddrive this last friday and took me like about 2 days to get everything back in order on my main system. I'm still checking my system cause the last harddrive lasted 3 weeks before it died. They'll take it and its settled the rayne crew now have a new place. Hopefully this will releave some tention they were suffereing before. I'll try to fix being behind with another double update story arc that willl come some time in the comming months.

Woo joyce is here to help and Trevor isn't that lucky. Just want to give everyone here a heads up I had a main harddrive crash. Its pretty much a brand new drive and because of that 92% of the crap that was on it was backed up but it leaves me with out a main computer at least for a week or 2. I am working on a laptop so I don't *think* it will effect the comic's progress but just in cause if you dont see an update next week that is why. Also I think it is deserved but today is my best friend and also a character in the comic, Kris's 30th birthday! He has been a influence to me in alot off ways.

*update* for the first time in 8 years I'm majorlly sick. I am back from FC *Yay* and it was a really great time. Only been before to the now dead Conifur so it was a treat. They had a whole room dedicated to just artists *anyone* to sit and draw. That is the coolest thing ever and I wish, no demand that all cons have that >.< The only rule is no selling, and I'm all for that, that way people aren't pimping there stuff instead of getting a table and it allows artists to come and stuff. I did pimp out Beverly alot cause she seems easier for people to draw but noone drew Rayne or Tracy *also which I had character sheets for.

Hey you all and its offically rayne's 3rd year! I haven't got to do any birthday art, but if anyone else is feeling up to it, it would be something nifty to put up here ^.^

Trevor is finishing up whats left of the night playing "videogames" and got a pretty nice present if you ask me. Trevors birthday lasted just about as long as I wanted it too. It just ran over 1 update so it took the first of 2008 for the last strip of that arc. New things are headed for everyone this year so hang on tight!

Also for anyone who cares, I'll be heading to Further Confusion in california the 24-27th of January! Because of messed up weird ass California laws requiring to get weird perments to sell about selling anything no matter how small and FC's rules about selling anything naughty in a noncommerical dealers table, I'll just be there without a table. However, I do plan to draw and sell if anyone is intrested :P. I'm debuting the newest Beverly and Tina *very over 18* comic "Day at the carnival" There as well as doing cheap sketches for little money ^.^ The comic will be offered for sell to anyone who wants one after the con. Happy new year! For once I'm on time in updateing. Just about in time for Rayne's birthday! This new years this comic will be 3 years old! I'll try to do a pic showing that. 3 years seems like a heck of a long time. I wish I did have more to show for it but i'm still ahead of my weekly updates by 3 whole comics (162 - 3 guest comics - (52 X 3 or 156)= 3. I'm hopeing to at least keep up the pace. Some intresting things hopefully will be coming this year as well.
Meanwhile Rayne and Trevor and another heart to heart. Part of why this keeps happening is that they are quite different in alot of ways. Sometimes communication just can't keep up with emotion.

Well finally the party is kicking off. This is also the last week of the double updates, next week its back to 1 strip a week. I really wish I could keep doing this but its really too hard to keep up, so instead of every little thing making me late or even having to skip weeks, I'm just going to once a week cause I know I can handle that. Also I took the time to show the girls from both front and back cause the model sheets I posted here are only of the front. I hope you enjoy that :P

Mary finds out that not all guys are that bad, Here is a good example of one of the challanges of comicing. At the end the guy might sound sorta like a jerk. He isn't trying to, but hanging around with a girl that looks like she is 13 could really get you in trouble if you aren't REALLY sure she isn't 13. If I had more space I might have been able to make that more clear, but you just do what you can at times.

Still with Tracy and Mary. Seems like there is no luck at the pool and Tracy tells a little more about herself. I've noticed something like chest agmentation doesn't come up much. With huge breasted supermodel types drawn and every character happens to still be 100% pure natural *bah* Tracy's species is also a very very petit and skinny one. So usually any one of her species with large boobs are fake. Tracy had to put on a fair amount of weight *not to mention she is a little bigger then adverage in highth* to make her self look more natural. It's another reason she gets aggravated that she is still a little smaller then Rayne or Beverly in the chest department.

Here is a recent fav of mine that I did. Its a little collage of pics I like to call the moods of Tracy. Tracy is quite fickle where she will be teasing Trevor and being all touchy feelly, then next thing you know beating him up.

I most likely am not showing it well with my drawing ability, but Mary can look anywhere from 15-16 on a good day to about 12 years old to some people. This makes life hell if you wanna do anything. Getting a date is about the worst though.

Trevor did some wheeling and dealing and got some real suites. So Trevor and Rayne will be in one and Mary and Tracy will be in the other. This should let nerves calm. Well the emotional and structural damage has been reviewed and it looks like there is good news. I know stuff has been getting later and later and I'm trying to keep on top of them but im getting about 5 hours of sleep a night and one hand is out and I just changed jobs (which I was drawing 85% of everything I draw at work) After training is finally done and I get used to the place stuff should get back to speed... I hope. I Really dont want to miss anymore updates but if I do that is why. If I can I'll try to post some double updates. Sorry also about the story being a little on the slow side, but im sorta stuck in a transistion part where I have a few things I want to do, but im not sure how to proceed. I'm back! Alive and not doing too bad. Sorry for the lateness again, but easter kept me from scanning in the image and then monday a friend came by from out of town, giving me 2 hours of sleep and then last night the internet went down at work. Anyway I had tons of fun and got tons of stuff while in Japan. I'm thinking of making a webpage to share my experence with weveryone as soon as I get everything sorted out, picture and stuff wise. Sorry, I got caught up with a ton of stuff last week, and by the time I could get to kinkos and shrink/scan the comic it was wed, so I just decide to hold it over. Here is a double update. First Beverly and Tina are pouring over weither or not to hire such a young looking girl and Rayne pushes it over the edge. Rayne does have alot of pull but neither one lets Rayne know about that. The 2nd comic this week starts Mary on her training. and showing a little about what goes on around at the gamebar.

Saddly even though I tried to put out a notice I thought that was in time I only recived 1 guest comic for my absence to japan. So for the next 2 weeks at least there will be nothing new here. I'll try to put the guest comic up midweek right before I leave. I wish more were sent in but those are the breaks. I'll see you in about 2 weeks!

Just in time (late) to introduce the newest character, Mary! and no its not Mary mouse >.< To avoid confusion from my craptacullar art skills, Mary looks like she is about 14ish and the is 1/2 the highth of most of the other girls or abouts. Its not just cause she is "small chested" as a friend wrote.

Happy New Year! And welcome back! Sorry for the long absence. christmas I wasn't caught up and didnt have any strips done. Then New years nothing was open at all until like wednesday so I couldnt shrink the image to scan. Then I was supposed to get it up last night and my truck was towed >.< Well no more delays here we rekick back up the story plot, as Trevor and Tracy finally make it back home with Rayne insane with worry.

Also this New Years is also an important event cause it marks 2 whole years of Rayne *woo go me* Thanks to those who have been reading. *man 2 years and not a single guest strip, I've seen comics up for 3 months and have those *grumble* ah those are the breaks. Merry Christmas! I am not loading a strip today. I ran out of my back logged strips and with alot of other crap I need to catch up. Also I've uploaded pleanty of bonus strips, so i'm still ahead :P. However I did create a bonus christmas party picture! Yes it was warm enough to do this about a week ago, it was about 75-80, but now its closer to 40. In cade you didn'n notice Jeffery is the hot bunny in bright pink :P. I wanted it colored but it was just too big of a task. Well I did get it updated but just no time for the news update. I blame the Wii. Yes I did get mine, took going to a town 30 miles away at 5AM and waiting for 2 hours with my friend and his 3 young girls but it is mine! It seems they are still selling out! Its time for the yearly halloween bash at Rayne's work the game-bar! This story line will more or less take place after the current date one and will be 5 strips. However if I did that one strip a week this thing would be going till Christmas so this week and next week I'll be putting up 2 I repeat 2 strips up and the last strip the 3rd week Trying not to delay the story any more. Sorry about the overlaping but when you have an weekly comic stuff like this happens. Now on with the strips! Oh sorry about number 95, but I couldnt draw Rayne in such a confined space and make the joke, so its formated weird.

If you can tell, which might happen, Trevor is Boswer from Mario games, Jeffery is going as Princess Peach also from the mario games. Tracy is Morrigan from Dark stalkers, and Kris is Tidus from Final Fantasy 10. Oh and Rayne is "generic angel" but its not quite working out that way.

Ok, I'm back and I hope on track. Here is a little plot twist to keep you all guessing. I think the last panel sums it up well, don't eat 2 pizzas and play a weird roleplaying games. I think weird movies are also included.

Erg! Stuff has gotten me behind again. Last I said last week, since there was 2 strips for the valentines comic and because I need to refill my backlog of Rayne strips there is no Rayne update this week. Sorry I'm super late with this. Had to draw it just this week usually many of the strips are done in advance and I just didn't get to it cause of tests. Finally the end of the game. Mark is still the butt of the joke, ya almost feel sorry for him, but not really. Once again the txt is large and there are alot of people in the panels so its a little crammed and the txt isn't where I'd like it but oh well.

Happy birthday! And also back to the story line. The comic was up on time but not the text. Also finally got a question from someone I can add to my FAQ section asking when Rayne updates. It supposed to update sat or sun night weekly. Anyway back to the RPG. Just a note I forgot to mention, the comic last week was a new years 1 shot comic of something that really happened to me and Kris 2 years ago. Anyway back to the RPG game, and stuff isn't looking up for the party. Seems like they haven't got around their bickering.

Now like I said last time I present the 1 year Rayne birthday bash pic! Let them eat cake! Cause cake R good! Also it's in color (YAY!). So now you can see what they all look like (note Jeffery has a new hair color every few weeks).

Happy new year to everybody! This also happens to be the 1st year anniversary of Rayne started in the very beginning of 2005. And only skipping 1 week of sickness and a double strip for Christmas it makes 52 strips! Another holiday strip, this is a real true story of danger and firecrackers. Remember, smoky the bear says don't blow up your friends truck! (note this is based on something that really happened)

And an added bonus, Beverly and Tina go thrift shopping, a rare one in color. I'll have a birthday color pic for rayne next week. For those who been reading I hope you've enjoyed the rather slow last year and hope things will be better for the next!

Merry Christmas everyone! Here is a special 2 strip Christmas update! Sorry for no text last week. Was busying fixing 3 Christmas computers, so it ate my week. Trevor once again gets pounded. Maybe one day he will wear a helmet or something, but he's not complaining. Well any more then usual that is. Have a great year everyone.

This one sorta had the same problem, too much txt and not enough space. Some of the stuff is a little out of order at first glance cause I had no place to put the txt, but I hope its understandable. And the party just goes downhill from here.

Also I have made Christmas cards! If any reader wants one, if you will send an email to me sailoranna@hotmail.com with Christmas card in the subject, and IN the email send me a mail address, I'll send ya one. I'm taking a tiny break from the current storyline to bring you a holiday day one. Sadly I started a little late and made it a little long so its going to go a bit in November, but I think its worth it. Then the the role playing story will continue. When both are done, in the archives, I'll put this after the role playing storyline where it would be if it were a perfect world. For those who are completely lost Rayne and company are heading to a costume party at Raynes work and Trevor is dressed as Koolaid man

Hi all! Once again sorry for the lateness up the update. Work is getting settled I think so it looks like I am going to have different days off so it looks like I will be updating this fri or Saturday night instead of wed or thurs night like I was. I really wanted to post this next story arc 2 a week but the way its going I am going to need the extra buffer space to keep it a steady 1 a week. Well with that out of the way on with the next story arc.

A roleplaying game you ask? Yes a roleplaying game. I'll try to get it from becoming too geeky.

I did really do some bonus art this time *I really did* but sadly I didn't get a chance to scan it. I'm sure you will see it next time. Of course that can all be solved by sending in fanart! Seems like I am late again for an update, sorry to all! I've changed jobs about a month ago, and I just get to where i know what I am doing there and then, I'm moved to a brand new place! New rules and new everything including new work times! Not to mention I've just started school... again, degree #2. I've been out for 5 years so working 40 hours and then 12 hours of school is a lil hard. I really really hope I wont be too late or have any gaps *only 1 so far being deathly sick ^.^* but it might happen. However I should at LEAST be able to come on and write that there will be no comic or SOMETHING, unlike some comics I know where you get like no news or anything to know if they are ever coming back. Well anyway to the comic.

Last time if you remember we had the explosion and well, this is the aftermath *All fear the topless Trevor*. This isn't a new thing for Trevor *being rejected and all* but its also not a common thing either. *he has had few times to even be rejected* He is taking it pretty grown up however *for once you could say*

Well the ice cream trip is over and we say bye to Beverly and Tina, Rayne's bosses. Kris tries to get Trevor and Rayne alone, but what ever for. And of course Trevor puts his foot in his mouth.

About last week *just a little advice I found out and I'm passing it around* I did something I thought that was seemingly harmless. I use a standard PC of almost everything I do, but I have a now older clamshell ibook that I mess with once and a while. Well I unplugged my ethernet to my pc and plugged it into my mac, used my mac then plugged it back to my pc. Then my internet died, but i discovered that it died only to my pc and my pc laptop, my mac still worked fine. Come to find out that at least older macs don't give up their IP addys. And there is almost no way to release them * I know I've tried everything * So just remember never use a mac and a PC on the same modem without a router! Took me 3 days to get ethernet back to main system, sorry for the delay last week.

Hi all again. This week its geek guys gone wild, or better titled, "Trevor gets a heart attack". This little instance will be hard on Trevor for a long time to come. New apartments always seem to have nagging problems, busted bathroom locks are just 1 case.

I've just got back from A-kon and it was great. I only saw 1 reader there but did a TON of commissions and got a ton made for me as well. This year I decided to get anyone I could find to draw the perfect odd couple Beverly and Tina. The video game polar opposites will be new characters in Rayne in a few weeks, so watch out for them and there bios could be completed by then as well. You can take a look at the fan art as well as other art I've done of them and even buy their first ever comic at the link above "Beverly and Tina page" *this page is 18 or over only*!

Also interesting note that little cabinet by Rayne in the first panel is in my real room. from the top to the bottom. Atari 2600 wood grain, on my PS2, the game cube you cant see its behind them, under that is the sega monstrosity *sp* on the genesis model 2 the sega cd #2 and the lovely useless 32X "mushroom". Under that you see the SNES and beside it out the picture my top loader NES, still under that, is my power strip with *out of picture my front loader NES and Genesis model 1 and there is 1 more shelf the box in the pic covers, which holds my N64, dreamcast, and storing in the back my PS1 *note my xbox is to huge to be on this moving shelf* An excuse to show off my games :P

Just a reminder, I'll be at A-kon *June 3-5th* at my publisher's table Purrsia Press. Seems many other webcomic artists much better and better known will be attending from Girly, to Something Positive,to Altermeta, all of which are pretty darn good. This week you find out Trevor is an artist and draws *gasp* boobs! Rayne once again takes it in stride. It is true, you can learn alot about someone from there art. From doodles to master pieces, and the most telling pics are usually the ones the artist tries to hide the most.

It's like a support group without the support. Rayne makes him feel somewhat normal about it though. Whats with girls and "guy porn"? Girls always want to see it but not to get off on it, no sir. I think its to embarrass the hell out of the friend who owns the stuff. I mean who can live down having a copy of big gazongas monthly?

This is the 2nd pic I did at Aggiecon. It seems the only women you do see at cons are dress up (if you want to call it that cause sometimes its hardly nothing at all) and usually look way to perfect to mingle with geeks or...really really shouldn't be dressing up.

This bit of extra art was inspired by a local very small but ver old scifi con *Aggiecon* Typical con humor but i think scifi cons are still the geekyist *not the scariest or weirdest just the geekyist. So where you might see too many malnutritioned
"anime cat girls" wearing way too little at like an anime con, the scifi and gaming cons are still dens of nerds and geeks alone.
